sssuper magic recs is not really a "record label" in the traditional sense - it is a group of friends that make and release their own work, sometimes separately, sometimes with each other's help. there's hardly what you would call a budget (and hardly a profit; what's left after paper and blank cds goes back to the bands).
go to shows.
they're fun! it's also the best place to buy cds (at least the most cheap and convenient). nothing has to be shipped anywhere, so everyone wins. right now, it's on a "donations please" basis, though cool-seeming trades are also currently accepted.

of course, not everyone lives nearby. if you really want a cd but can't make it to OTOWN for a show, that's okay - we can mail it to you. problem is, shipping yadda yadda, paypal whatever, etc. if you don't mind the added cost and complication, then shoot an email to sssupermagic@gmail.com and include your name, address, and the item you want. give me a day or two usually to respond, but the rest will be explained in the email reply. suggested donation for cds is $8.
